| | Bruno Schiefer | was a teacher for English and P.E. and later head of school and superintendent of schools at the School Board in Cologne. For over 40 years has been involved in intercultural school programs. He spent time abroad himself as a teacher, for example at a high school in Centralia and at the Centralia Community College,Washington, U.S.A.. He is cofounder of a number of exchange organizations. In the year 2000, he and his wife Dagmar Urbahn-Schiefer moved to Glarus, Switzerland, where they founded ssb Schiefer’sche Schul- und Studienberatung GmbH. |
| | Dagmar Urbahn-Schiefer | is a certified social worker. During her studies she spent a year at Jacksonville State University in Alabama. She went on to gain experience as social worker and guidance counselor for children and young people of various ages and diverse cultural backgrounds. |
| | Christian Ott | studied business in Quebec, Canada. He gained further international experience during a semester abroad in Hong Kong. He attended school in Hasliberg, Berner Oberland and completed his secondary education at a boarding school in New Hampshire, U.S.A. |
